Any alarm user may file a written notice of appeal with the Director of Public Safety within ten days of receipt of the bill provided in § 9.602. Appeals shall be heard by the Director within 20 days after the filing of the notice of appeal. The Director has authority to waive the imposition of the fee set forth in § 9.602 if it is determined that the alarm user or alarm business has made a good faith effort to determine the cause of the false alarms and to correct the problem.
