Any person who shall violate the provisions of this chapter shall have committed a civil infraction and may be ordered to pay a civil fine of not more than $500. Each day that a violation occurs or continues shall constitute a separate offense. In addition, any installation or equipment, including motor vehicles, maintained or operated contrary to the provisions of this chapter shall be thereupon deemed to create a public nuisance and shall be subject to abatement.
