It shall be the duty of the Fire Chief to enforce all state laws and provisions of this code governing the following:
(A) The prevention of fires;
(B) The storage and use of explosives and flammables;
(C) The maintenance of fire alarm systems and all fire extinguishing equipment;
(D) The maintenance and use of fire escapes;
(E) The maintenance of fire protection and the elimination of fire hazards in all buildings and structures; and
(F) The maintenance and adequacy of fire exits from schools, hospitals, churches, halls, and all other places where persons work or congregate for any purpose.
