Where a certificate of compliance is required, the city may issue a temporary certificate of compliance until such time as the city is able to make a compliance inspection in order to enable the city to balance the compliance inspection workload. A temporary certificate of compliance may be suspended or revoked by the building inspector in his or her discretion at any time if the rental unit fails to meet all standards set forth in this code.
