(A) No person shall conduct a moving picture show, vaudeville, opera house, theater or other place for the giving of plays, and other theatrical exhibitions where an admission fee is charged, without first obtaining a license therefor to be known as a theater license.
(B) The requirements of this section shall not be applicable to exhibitions or shows given for charity or for the benefit of schools or benevolent, educational, fraternal or religious societies.
