§ 7.52 APPLICATION PROCEDURES.
   An applicant shall make a request for approval by the city of a tavern license or Class C license upon forms provided by the City Clerk. A fee established by resolution of the City Commission shall accompany all applications made pursuant to this chapter. Upon receipt of such application, the City Clerk shall transmit the same to the Director of Public Safety, the Director of Finance/Treasurer and the Building Inspector. These departments shall investigate the premises to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and shall check the applicant’s records to be certain that all taxes are paid and that there are no outstanding citations or criminal charges. Once the review of these departments is complete, the application shall be considered by the City Commission for approval or denial.
