For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
APPLICANT. Any person who seeks approval from the city for a tavern or Class C license.
CLASS C LICENSE. Any place licensed to sell at retail beer, wine and spirits for consumption on the premises.
PERSON. Any person, firm, partnership, association or corporation.
SPIRITS. Any beverage which contains alcohol obtained by distillation, mixed with potable water or other substances, or both, in solution, and includes wine containing the alcoholic content of more than 21% by volume, except sacramental wine.
TAVERN LICENSE. Any place licensed to sell at retail beer and wine for consumption on the premises.
