(A) Publication of the within codification of the ordinances of the city is hereby directed. Copies of this code and of all amendments shall be printed in looseleaf form and shall be distributed to all elected city officials and to all appointed city officials and department heads. Each copy of said code shall remain the property of the city and shall be turned over by each official having custody thereof upon expiration of his or her term of office or employment to his or her successor or to the City Clerk in case he or she shall have no successor.
(B) Copies of this code shall be made available to the public at cost. The Clerk shall keep copies of the code available for public inspection during office hours.
