Violation of any provisions of this article shall be a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day of a continuing violation, as determined by the city upon prior written notice to the violator, may be charged and punished as a separate and distinct offense.
