Where a meter shall be set in a meter pit, such pit shall be built at the expense of the owner of the premises serviced by the meter as directed by the Director. When the meter pit falls into disrepair, such condition must be reported to the Director at once. The pit shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the Director at the owner’s expense.
