Unless prohibited by state law or unless otherwise provided by specific provisions of particular city ordinance to the contrary, the following officials are hereby designated as authorized city officials to issue and serve municipal civil infraction citations for violation of city ordinances which provide for a municipal civil infraction for a violation thereof:
(A) The Director of the Public Safety Department, all officers of said Department, and his or her designee;
(B) The Assistant City Manager and his or her designee;
(C) The County Sheriff and all other County Sheriffs of said county;
(D) All building mechanical, plumbing, electrical and property maintenance code inspectors; and
(E) The Director of the County Department of Animal Control and his or her designee.
