The purpose of this chapter is to supplement existing ordinance provisions to empower certain city officials to issue and serve municipal civil infraction citations for violations of those city ordinances which constitute municipal civil infractions. This chapter is enacted pursuant to Public Act 12-26 of 1994 and Public Act 236 of 1961, being M.C.L.A. §§ 600.101 et seq., as amended.
