(A) At the discretion of the City Attorney, prosecution for violation of this chapter may be initiated on the basis of an investigation undertaken pursuant to this chapter.
(B) A violation of this chapter shall constitute a civil infraction pursuant to the provisions of the Revised Judicature Act of 1961, M.C.L.A. §§ 600.101 et seq. and is punishable by a fine of not more than $500 plus the costs of investigation and prosecution.
