§ 155.097 INSPECTION.
   (A)   The subdivider shall provide an engineer, registered in the state, who shall be responsible for the full-time inspection of the installation of the required improvements. The engineer shall certify, in compliance herewith, that the required improvements have been installed according to the approved plans and specifications and good engineering practice.
   (B)   (1)   All improvements required by the provisions of this subchapter shall be inspected by the Village Engineer at various times during the course of construction and at completion. At the time that the subdivider submits the application for final plat approval in accordance herewith, he or she shall pay to the village an inspection fee of 2% of the amount of the completion guarantee or the estimated cost of required improvements.
      (2)   The fee shall be used to defray the cost of inspection by the village. In the event that actual inspection costs exceed 2%, the costs shall be charged to and paid by the subdivider. The fees shall also include all travel and other expenses normally charged to the village.
