§ 132.23 ENFORCEMENT.
   It shall be the duty of all state, county and municipal officials to cooperate in the enforcement of this subchapter. If any sheriff, deputy sheriff, chief of police, marshal, police officer or other peace officer shall have knowledge or information of any violation of any provisions of this subchapter, he or she shall diligently investigate and secure evidence of the same and shall, before the proper officer, make and sign a complaint against the offending person, anything in the ordinance or by-laws of any municipality to the contrary notwithstanding.
