(A) A person commits theft from a coin-operated machine when he or she knowingly and without authority opens, breaks into, tampers with, triggers or damages a coin-operated machine either:
(1) To operate or use the machine; or
(2) With the intent to commit a theft from the machine.
(B) A violation of subdivision (A)(1) is a Class B misdemeanor. A violation of subdivision (A)(2) is a Class A misdemeanor.
