The license shall be made under the name of the village and shall be executed by the Chief of Police; shall state the object and purpose of the license and the amount paid therefor; and shall contain a statement that the license is issued and accepted subject to the ordinances then in force, relating to the subject matter thereof and that the same is subject to revocation by the President of the village. No license shall be issued to extend beyond the last day of the municipal year.
