§ 151.021 ADDITIONS, INSERTIONS, DELETIONS, AND CHANGES TO THE INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE—2006.

   "Chapter 9.   FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS.

   Section 903: Automatic Sprinkler Systems:

   903.2   Where Required. Approved automatic sprinkler systems shall be provided in all new buildings and structures exceeding 7,500 square feet or four more stories in height.

   Exception: Automatic sprinkler shall not be required in R-3 occupancies.

   Section 907: Fire Alarm and Detention Systems.

   907.2   Where Required—New Buildings and Structures. An approved manual, automatic or manual and automatic fire alarm system shall be provided in all new buildings and structures 2,500 square feet or more."
