“Chapter 1. ADMINISTRATION.
Section 101: General.
101.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the “Fire Code of the Village of East Dundee” (hereinafter referred to as “this Code”).
Section 109: Violations.
109.3 Violation Penalties. Persons who shall violate a provision of this Code or shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof or who shall erect, install, alter, repair, or do work in violation of the approved construction documents or directive of the Code Official or of a permit or certificate used under the provisions of this Code shall be subject to a fine of not more than $750 as prescribed by § 10.99 of the village Code of Ordinances. Each day that a violation continues after due notice has been served shall be deemed a separate offense and shall be subject to additional fines.
Chapter 9. FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS.
Section 904: Alternative Automatic Fire Extinguishing Systems.
904.3.5 Monitoring. All automatic fire extinguishing systems shall be monitored by the building fire alarm system in accordance with NFPA 72.
Section 907: Fire Alarm and Detection Systems.
907.1.3 Supervision. All required fire alarm and detection systems shall be supervised by QuadCom.
907.2 Where Required—New Buildings and Structures. An approved manual, automatic or manual and automatic fire alarm systems shall be provided in all new buildings and structures 2,500 square feet or more.
907.2.9 Group R-2. A fire alarm system shall be installed in all Group R-2 occupancies.”
