The purpose of these regulations is to aid and to control the subdivision of land in the interest of coordinated development of the city, to establish a consistent policy upon plats submitted to the city council, and to enable them to ascertain whether the same conforms to the applicable statutes and ordinances. These regulations are established as the minimum requirements to effect the purpose. (Ord., 12-5-1961)
