A. Interpretation: This chapter shall be construed according to the fair import of its terms and shall be liberally construed to further the purposes and policy stated in section 14-2-2 of this chapter and the special purpose of the particular provision involved.
B. Severability: If any provision of this chapter or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of the chapter and the application of the provision to other persons not similarly situated or to other circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
