A. Permit Required: It shall be unlawful to make any excavation in or tunnel under any public street, alley, sidewalk or other public place in the city without having first secured a permit therefor.
B. Application For Permit: Applications for such permits shall be made to the city clerk and shall specify the intended location and purpose of the excavation.
C. Permit Fee: The fee for said permit shall be thirty dollars ($30.00).
D. Approval: All application for such permit shall be reviewed and approved by the city manager and/or the city council. (2001 Code)
