2-3-2: TERM OF OFFICE; VACANCY:
The City Clerk shall be elected and serve for a four (4) year term and until his/her successor is elected and qualified, as provided by statute 1 . The mayor, upon a vacancy in the Office of City Clerk, shall bring forth a qualified and experienced appointee for consideration and approval by the City Council as required by statute 2 .
