4-1-5: PROPERTY REMOVED FROM FIRE SCENE:
The members of the Volunteer Fire Department shall have charge of the scene and of any property removed from the scene of a fire to avoid loss or damage of the property until it is turned over to the owner or agent for the owner thereof. All property seized as evidence for investigation purposes shall be maintained in a documented chain of custody. (Ord. 01-0206, 2-5-2001)
