Upon receipt of an application for a teen dance hall license, the mayor shall cause a copy of the authorization for background check(s) to be sent to the police department for a background check. A decision on the application filed with the city will be made within fifteen (15) days whether the location for which the license is sought meets applicable city codes and whether the applicant meets the requirement for issuance of the license requested.
