Whoever violates any provision of this chapter or any rule or regulation promulgated hereunder or fails to comply herewith or with any written notice or written order issued hereunder, shall, in addition to other legal action which may be instituted under § 1337.07, be fined not more than $1,000 and imprisoned for not more than six months for each offense. Each day such violation occurs or continues shall constitute a separate offense and may be punishable as provided for herein.
