§ 729.13  TRESPASSING.
   No solicitor, while engaged in the business of solicitor, shall knock at the door or ring the bell of any private home, apartment, apartment building or other dwelling unit in the city, upon which is displayed at the entrance a notice which reads “No Solicitors Allowed”, or which otherwise clearly purports to prohibit solicitors on the premises, unless such solicitor is or has been invited upon the premises by the owner, lessee or occupant of such premises. The terms of this section do not apply to regularly licensed solicitors who, without compensation or remuneration, solicit in behalf of and for any locally or publicly recognized religious, educational, civic or charitable organization.
