(a) Child care centers and Type A homes may operate any part of the 24 hour day.
(b) No day-care facility shall be operated in any building used wholly or in part for a business or commercial purpose, except with the approval of the Board of Zoning Appeals.
(c) If a dwelling unit, as defined in the Zoning Ordinance of the city, is located in the same building as a child day-care center or day nursery, or the building is shared by other persons or groups, the portion of the building to which the children from the child day-care center or day nursery have access is used only for child day-care during the hours that the child day-care center or day nursery is in operation.
