The Mayor shall appoint dance hall inspectors who shall receive for their services such compensation as is established by ordinance, which compensation shall be paid from the General Fund. More than one dance hall inspector may be assigned for a single dance when, in the opinion of the Mayor, because of the number of persons attending the dance or the type of dance being held, such additional inspector is needed to maintain proper order and to enforce city ordinance provisions. Dance hall inspectors shall have the power to enforce the provisions of this chapter, and shall have the power to eject or cause to be ejected from any such dance any person failing to abide by or conform to such provisions.
