§ 557.051  DISCRIMINATION REVIEW COMMITTEE; DUTIES; RESPONSIBILITIES.
   (a)   There is hereby created a Discrimination Review Committee which shall consist of five members designated by the Mayor. The Mayor shall further designate one of the Committee members to serve as chairperson. No person shall be appointed to the Discrimination Review Committee who has any interest in any firm, association, company or corporation engaged in the sale or rental of real estate in the city.
   (b)   The Discrimination Review Committee shall have the responsibility to hear cases brought before the Law Department and such other duties as may be set forth in this chapter. The Discrimination Review Committee shall make recommendations as to findings of fact, as to whether the respondent has violated § 557.03, and as to remedial actions that may be appropriate under § 557.12.
   (c)   The Law Department shall promulgate appropriate rules and regulations for the operation of the Discrimination Review Committee.
