(A) For the purposes of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
SERVICE STATION. A place of business where gasoline or any highly volatile fuels for motor vehicles or internal combustion engines are sold or offered for sale or retail and dispensed into the fuel tanks of motor vehicles.
(B) This definition shall include also a private storage tank and dispensing of products for the same purposes as those served by a service station, whether the storage is maintained for the use or benefit of the owner, lessee, agents, or employees of either, or of any others.
(C) The requirements covering service stations shall govern underground storage maintained at general storage plants and places other than service stations, so far as applicable.
