For the purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BILLIARD ROOM. Any public place where the game of billiards is permitted to be played for hire or gain within the city.
BILLIARDS. Any of the several games played on a table surrounded by an elastic edge of cushions with balls which are impelled by a cue, including all forms of the game known as carom billiards.
BOWLING ALLEY. Includes bowling alleys, pin and ball alleys, box ball alleys, skee-ball alleys, and all alleys of similar character.
