(A) Any business or activity, office, plant, or place within the city, whether temporary or permanent in nature, and whether within or without a permanent structure, where services or professional services; day care providers, including schools, preschools, private home day cares, centers, ministries; manufacturing; fabrication; construction; assembly or design occur, or where commodities or goods are sold or offered for sale to the public in general or to the ultimate consumer of the commodities or goods shall be required to obtain a valid business license from the city.
(B) (1) It is unlawful for any person to conduct, engage in, maintain, operate, carry on, or manage a business or occupation, thing, or device for which a business license is required without first procuring a business license for such business, occupation, thing, or device as provided in this code or other ordinance of the city.
(2) Any establishment not specifically covered by a separate business license provision will require a business license.
