§ 99.006 PROTECTION OF TREES DURING BUILDING CONSTRUCTION.
   In the erection, alteration, or repair of any building or structure, the owner thereof shall place or cause to be placed guards around or nearby trees in the public way as shall effectually prevent injury to the trees.
