(A) The Board of Public Works shall have the right to number and plat all existing driveways and to require proper repair and maintenance upon the additional penalty of ordering the sealing of the driveways.
(B) The permittee shall be liable for any negligence in the maintenance of the driveway and the city shall be impliedly exempt and indemnified against liability therefrom by virtue of the permit granted or the use of the driveway.
