§ 32.015 OFFICE OF THE MAYOR.

   (A)   The Office of the Mayor shall include all functions assigned to the Mayor who shall act as the Chief Executive of the city.

      (B)   The Mayor shall have all power and authority assigned to the Office by the statutes of the state (I.C. 36-4-5-3).

      (C)   The Mayor shall ensure the efficient operation of the city and enforce the ordinances of the city and the statutes of the state.

      (D)   The Mayor shall appoint personnel and assign duties as are necessary to conduct the business of his or her office.
