For the purposes of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ABANDONED VEHICLE. Any motor vehicle whose owner has terminated the use and care of a motor vehicle and has left the motor vehicle on open lands and has either indicated by his or her words or actions an intent to leave the same and no longer claim ownership thereof or has left the same without making arrangements for the storage with the owner or occupant of the premises on which it is located, for a period of at least 30 days.
PROPERTY. Any real property within the city which is not a street or highway.
STREET or HIGHWAY. The entire width between the boundary lines of every way publicly maintained when any part thereof is open to the use of the public for purposes of vehicular travel.
VEHICLE. A machine propelled by power other than human power designed to travel along the ground by use of wheels, treads, runners, or slides, and transport persons or property or pull machinery and shall include, without limitation, automobile, truck, trailer, motorcycle, tractor, buggy, and wagon.
