§ 93.075 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purposes of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   NEW TIRE. A tire which has never been placed on a vehicle wheel rim.
   PERSON. An individual, corporation, partnership, or an unincorporated association.
   REMANUFACTURED TIRE. A waste tire which has been recapped, retreaded, or regrooved and which has not been placed on the wheel of a motor vehicle.
   TIRE. A continuous, solid, or pneumatic rubber covering designed to encircle a wheel of a motor car. This definition includes new tires, waste tires, and remanufactured tires.
   WASTE TIRE. A tire that is not suitable for the tire’s original purpose because of wear, damage, or defect. This definition includes a tire that has been shredded, chopped, drilled with holes, or otherwise altered for recycling, disposal, or any other purpose. It also means any used tire which is not being held for immediate sale at retail or wholesale.
