§ 31.082 CONTROL OF BRIDGES.
   (A)   All bridges crossing the Grand Calumet River and the Indiana Harbor Ship Canal or any of its branches within the harbor of the city, including railroad bridges, shall be under the control of the Harbor Master, except where jurisdiction is assumed by the State Highway Commission. The Harbor Master shall have power to order the opening and closing of the same at any time, in his or her judgment, it is necessary to carry out the provisions of this subchapter.
   (B)   In all matters pertaining to the opening and closing of bridges, the Harbor Master shall conform to all provisions of this code or law regulating the opening and closing of bridges.
