§ 31.033 ADDITIONAL ASSISTANTS AND CLERKS.
   The City Controller is authorized, subject to the approval of the Mayor, to employ further assistants and clerks which the business of the Department of Finance may require. The number and the salary of the employees in the Department of Finance shall be fixed by the Mayor and be provided by the Common Council in the annual budget and salary ordinance in the manner provided by law.
