(A) The Board of Public Works and Safety is authorized to establish far side bus stops and taxicab stands for lawful passenger or common-carrier motor vehicles on public streets, in places and in a number as it shall determine to be of the greatest benefit and convenience to the public.
(B) Every bus stop, taxicab stand, or other stand shall be designated by appropriate signs.
