Where the process effluent of IUs is mixed prior to treatment with wastewaters other than those generated by the regulated process, fixed alternative discharge limits may be derived by the District or by the industrial user with the written concurrence of the District. These alternative limits shall be applied to the mixed effluent. The method, formulae, application, and limitations for deriving such limits shall be strictly governed by the provisions of 40 C.F.R. § 403.6(e), the provisions of which are incorporated herein by reference.
