For the purposes of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY. The City of East Chicago, Indiana.
CITY VEHICLES. Any municipally owned or leased device designed for the purpose of carrying passengers, goods, or equipment (such as cars, trucks, vans, buses, and the like).
PUBLIC BUILDING. An enclosed structure or part of an enclosed structure that is owned, leased, or occupied by the city or any of its agencies.
SMOKING. The carrying or holding of a lighted cigarette, cigar, pipe, or any other lighted smoking equipment, or the inhalation or exhalation of smoke from any lighted environment.
