§ 130.004 IMPERSONATING POLICE OFFICERS OR FIREFIGHTERS.
   It is unlawful for any person not a police officer or firefighter of the city to wear a star or any badge resembling the same. No person who is not a police officer or firefighter of the city shall falsely represent himself or herself to be a member of the police or fire force or shall, with intent to deceive, use, or imitate any of the signs, signals, or devices used by the police or fire force. No person other than a police officer of the city shall wear a uniform in any public place, at a time, which is similar to or which is not easily distinguishable from the office police uniform adopted for the city by the Board of Public Safety.
