(A) All assistants, employees, and other public health personnel authorized by the Board of Health shall meet the minimum qualifications provided by the State Board of Health, shall be appointed by the City Health Officer subject to confirmation by the Board of Health and their compensation shall be fixed by the Board of Health and shall be provided in the annual budget.
(B) Public health personnel shall devote their full time to the duties of their respective positions in protecting and supervising the general health and sanitation and in performing their prescribed duties.
