There shall be a municipal court for the trial and determination of all cases arising under this code and other ordinances of the city and the laws of the state, pursuant to, in accordance with and subject to all the terms and provisions of the acts of the general assembly of the state regulating the powers, duties and jurisdiction of such courts.
