§ 32.28 HEARINGS.
   When any permanent city employee who has completed six months of satisfactory service is unable to resolve an alleged grievance by discussion and negotiation with his employer, he may request, in writing, a hearing before the Grievance Committee appointed and constituted as provided therein. The request for a hearing shall be directed to the governing body and must be received by the governing body within 60 days from the date of the alleged grievance. Within ten days of receipt of the employee's request, the governing body shall schedule the requested hearing and notify the Grievance Committee and the employee requesting the hearing.
