(A) In addition to appropriate civil and equitable remedies for enforcement of this chapter, a violation of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable as provided by law. Each day of noncompliance with the provisions of this chapter constitutes a separate and distinct violation.
(B) Any violator of this chapter may be prosecuted in the City Recorder's court and upon a finding of guilt, the violator may be fined an amount not to exceed $500 or imprisoned for a period not to exceed 30 days, plus any additional state assessments.
