(A) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is otherwise provided shall be subject to the penalty contained in § 70.99.
(B) Any person violating the provisions of § 71.02 shall be punished by a fine of not less than $51 and not more than $500 or by confinement for not more than 30 days, plus any additional state assessments. (`90 Code, § 15-11)
