When any owner is found to be in violation of any provision of this chapter, the city, in its discretion and without obligation, may elect to pursue any or all remedies available in an effort to cure the problem, including declaring the property a nuisance and, after notice and hearing as set forth herein, proceeding to abate the nuisance; imposition of civil penalties; seeking injunctive relief; or pursuing any other remedy available at law. The election of one remedy shall not preclude the pursuit of any other.
